Mission and Scope of the Journal
The mission of the Journal is to pursue the statutory objectives of the Polish Association of Sanitary Engineers and Technicians (PZITS) by creating a platform for the dissemination of scientific and technical knowledge in the field of environmental engineering.
The Journal contributes to the development of both science and engineering practice, in particular by:
- protecting human health and the natural environment,
- enhancing the professional and ethical standards of the engineering community,
- promoting modern technologies and the principles of sustainable development,
- integrating scientific, technical, and professional communities,
- supporting innovation and implementation activities in environmental engineering,
- providing a forum for the exchange of knowledge between academia, industry, and public administration.
The objective of the Journal is to strengthen its position as a leading, opinion-forming, and interdisciplinary publication in the field of sanitary engineering. It aims not only to provide reliable industry information but also to actively shape the discourse on the future of this interdisciplinary domain. The Journal aspires to become an indispensable resource for professionals, researchers, entrepreneurs, and decision-makers in Poland by delivering knowledge, inspiration, and tools necessary for development and informed decision-making.
The Journal also seeks to expand international cooperation and participate in the global exchange of knowledge through indexing in scientific databases, presence in professional communities, and the promotion of Polish technical achievements.
The long-term goal is to reinforce the role of the Journal as an element of the system for science dissemination and for building the prestige of engineering professions in the areas of environment, energy, and infrastructure.
